Vibration White Finger

Hard and Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) is avoidable, but once the damage is done, it is permanent.

Commonly referred to as Vibration White Finger, this condition comes from the use of hand-held power tools and is the cause of significant ill health, painful and disabling disorders of the blood vessels, nerves, joints and muscles of the hands and arms.

The exposure to vibration may relate to past or current employment. James Murray Solicitors are here to assist even if your former company no longer exists. We are able to use our specialist tracing procedures to try to identify the original employer’s liability insurer.

There are time limits for bringing a civil action and the general rule is that victims have 3 years from the date they knew or ought to have known that their illness was as a consequence of their employment. Therefore, if you are uncertain about your date of knowledge you must seek immediate legal advice and our dedicated team of specialists are on hand to discuss this with you further.
